Mary Rose Vantree was born April 22, 1925 to Mary Orpha and William T. Bell in Geary, Oklahoma. The family moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas in her early teen years where she remained until returning to Bethany, Oklahoma in 1966. She worked for the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System and retired in 1994 after 20 years of service. She was an active member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene until her health limited her ability to attend. She moved to Conroe, Texas in September of this year to be near her daughter. She was privileged to enter the Lords gates on November 1, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Mary Louise Guess and Lorraine Casper. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Billye and Roger Gosnell of Montgomery, Texas; brother Francis Thompson of Port Orchard, Washington and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Tuesday, November 6th at Mercer- Adams in Bethany, Oklahoma with the memorial service at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, November 7th at 2pm. She will be laid to rest at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Thursday November 8th.
