Mary Lou Ellen (Worthington) Tarter, 88, died May 29, 2014. She was born March 20, 1926 to loving parents, Charles and Mamie Worthington, in their lovely farm home in Banner, the 5th child including 2 brothers, Leonard and Johnny, and 2 sisters, Doris and Marion, which are all deceased, including parents. Several nieces and nephews are living in OK, TX, CO and CA. Also surviving are two beautiful grandchildren, Nick Tarter of OKC and Stefanie Covey of Yukon, and their spouses Stacey Tarter and Alan Covey; two great-grandchildren, Ellie and Reuben Tarter of OKC; her wonderful husband Raymond; and her great son Steve and daughter-in-law Rhonda of Yukon that are all very special. Mary Lou and husband sang in the Billy Graham Choir in OKC Crusade one time, and attended all his meetings in OKC. She was a member of the Bethany General Hospital Auxiliary Group, and served a number of hours there in the 1980's. She was a longtime member of FBC Bethany and later of Council Road Baptist Church. Viewing will be Monday, noon to 9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Tuesday, June 3, 10:00am at Council Road Baptist Church Chapel, where she enjoyed membership since 1983. Interment will follow in El Reno Cemetery.
