Mary (Twist) Rogers, 85, died March 21, 2011. She was born Dec. 23, 1925 in Arnold, NE to Rufus and Clara Twist. She received her nursing degree in June of 1947 at Wesley School of Nursing, OKC. She married Lawrence Rogers April 27, 1950. Mary was a Girl Scout Leader for ten years. Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Cathy Kennedy and husband Sam, OKC; son, David Rogers and wife JoAnn, OKC; sister, Elizabeth McCaskill and husband Brand, Waynesboro, VA; grandson, Robert West and wife Sharon; and granddaughters, Andrea Hooten, Erica McCurley and husband Mike, and Shawna Kennedy. Wake services will be Wednesday, March 23, 7:00pm with Memorial Mass on Thursday, March 24, 11:00am at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, 7336 W. Britton Rd., OKC, OK 73132. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epiphany of the Lord, Building Fund.
