Mary H. (Matthews) Rider passed away May 22, 2020 in Bethany, OK. She was born in Magee, MS to Willie and Alice (Thompkins) Matthews. On August 7, 1954 she married John Rider in Gulfport, MS. Mary was a former bookkeeper. Mary enjoyed cooking, sewing and oil painting. She was a faithful member of Tulakes Baptist Church for over 50 years. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. She will be dearly missed by her husband, John; her 3 children, Michael and his wife Loida of OKC, David and his wife Carla of OKC, and Debra Varner and husband Greg of Carrollton, VA; and grandchildren, Isabelle Varner and John Michael Rider.
