OCHS, Mary Lou November 21, 1927-January 5, 2021 Oklahoma City, OK Mary Lou Ochs, 93, was born November 21, 1927 in Kearney, NE to Lewis and Ethel (Fleming) Fowler. She was a wonderful, kind, and unbelievably strong woman who many cherished and adored. She graduated high school in Hastings, NE. She married Rex Wendell Ochs on June 14, 1946 in Smith Center, KS and they spent many years playing first run movies in numerous theaters across the country. Mary retired as an executive secretary from Bendix Corporation in OK. Rex and Mary Lou shared 42 wonderful years together before his death in 1988. She married Jack Moore September 24, 1992 before he sadly passed in 2009, and then she found love once more when marrying Wally Delong who passed only 3 months later in 2011. Mary was a longtime member of First Christian Church, Mayflower Society, D.A.R., Colonial Daughters of 17th Century, and the Doan Family Association. She gave much of her time volunteering for Meals on Wheels and researching her familys genealogy. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Ethel; husbands Rex, Jack, and Wally; and siblings Myron K. Fowler and Phyllis A. Claiborne. Survivors include her only child and son, Steve Ochs and wife Dixie; grandchildren, Kelee and fianc Eric Dreiling, Kamron and wife Whitney; great-grandchild, Zurie; nephew, Phil Claiborne and wife Kacey, and their children Sarah and Gina; and nephew, David Claiborne.
