Obituary

Mary Lou was born on February 6th 1941 to Dan and Anna Janzen in Enid, Oklahoma. The Lord called her home on July 3rd 2015. She graduated from Marshall High School in Arkansas in 1959. She attended Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS for 1 year before meeting the love of her life, her future husband Don. They married on August 26, 1960 and began a romance that lasted 55 wonderful years. Mary took the Lord into her heart at an early age and was involved in church activities her whole life. She especially enjoyed teaching young age Sunday school classes because Mary never met a baby, or young child that she could pass by. Her career path took her from self-employed hairdresser to master computer programmer. She worked for the Cessna Aircraft Company, the Boeing Company, the Phillips 66 Corporation, and The State of Oklahoma. She retired from the State of Oklahoma to happily take on the job of helping take care of 2 of her 3 granddaughters Harley, and Amber. She enjoyed reading, playing computer Solitaire and Mahjong, watching reruns of Matlock, Perry Mason, and The Andy Griffith Show, and most especially enjoyed eating out at restaurants. Mary Lou had a very large heart, loved every one and was loved, and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents Dan and Anna, her sister Helen, and her brother Johnny. She is survived by her husband Don, her sisters Diane, Carol, and Nita Rae, her brothers Roger, and Danny Paul, her children Mark, Cheryl, and Jennifer, daughter-in-law Christina, son-in-law James, granddaughters Kathy, Harley, and Amber, grandson PJ, and great granddaughter Heather.
