Mary Patricia (Pat) Mc Cann Kirkpatrick, Bethany, OK, went to be with Jesus on September 15, 2011 in the Deaconess Hospital, after a brief illness. She was a lifetime resident of New Brighton, PA until she came to Bethany in 2002 to reside with her daughter and son-in-law, Janice Edwards and The Rev Terry Edwards. She was born in Beaver Falls, PA to Jerry and Hazel Mc Cann on August 15, 1928, the 5th of 11 children. She attended the Western Oaks Church of the Nazarene and Providence Church of the Nazarene, where Terry is Pastor. Her ministry to others was her hospitality and encouragement. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers, and her son, Daniel Kirkpatrick. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Fred Kirkpatrick, who still resides with their daughter, Janice Edwards and husband, Rev Terry Edwards; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grea- grandchild. Services celebrating her life were held in Beaver Falls, PA at the Lutton Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at Western Oaks Church of the Nazarene, 16th and Council Road, at a later date.
