Mary Katherine "Katy" Kilman, 94, died January 6, 2019. She was born May 18, 1924 in OKC to William and Grace (Edwards) Peterman. Katy influenced many in her 56 years of membership and childrens ministry at Crestwood Baptist Church (OKC) and currently at Portland Avenue Baptist Church for 33 years. She served the Lord all her life, teaching boys and girls about Jesus in Sunday school. Katy enjoyed singing, playing the piano, reading, and her dogs. She adored her family and loved spending time with them. Katy was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, James Robert Kilman. Survivors include her loving husband of 77 years, John Kilman; sons, Ron Kilman and wife Joyce, Bob Kilman and wife Mary; grandchildren, Deborah, Ryan and Brad; and great-grandchildren, Grace and Jake Fulton, Benton, Holden, Johnna, Jade, Andrew and Anthony Kilman. Viewing will be Tuesday, 3-9pm, with family present 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Wednesday, January 9, 10:00am at Portland Avenue Baptist Church with interment in Rose Hill Burial Park.
