Mary E. Greear was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on August 9th, 1932. She died January 18th, surrounded by family and loved ones.
She is survived by her daughter, Ardean (Deanie) Kuepker and husband Ronald; her granddaughter, Trina Jones and husband Thailar; her great-grandchildren Korbie Krase, Presley Jones and Dalton Krase with wife Madison and child, KJ; niece, Andrea (Andi) Smith; and cousin, Jimmie Lou Holland. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lois LaFern Tindle; brother, James Ollie White; and daughter, Vickie Lynn Greear.
Mary spread her wings vastly in the creative world. She spent her free time creating clay sculptures, paintings and writing calligraphy. She was member and president of the Okeene Mothers Club, Oklahoma Sculpture Cub, and SOS Investment Club. Mary was also a proud member of the Canterbury Choral Society, Sooner Scribes and Central Oklahoma Opera League.
Mary had an extensive amount of time contributed to education.
Mary graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1950. She attended Draughan's Business College and OSU-OKC. She worked at the Okeene Clinic, Oklahoma City Clinic and the University of Oklahoma HSC. She retired from the University of Oklahoma HSC after many years of working as the administrative assistant in the pathology department.
Mary was a life-long Christian, attending numerous churches and experiencing different denominations. Her funeral service will be Saturday, January 27th, 12:00pm at Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Oklahoma City.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Angel Ray for being such a wonderful caregiver and becoming a part of our extended family. We would also like to thank the staff at Legacy Hospice for how much care & love they showed us.
