Mary Ruth Fife, 86, passed away on January 7, 2016 in Oklahoma City. Mary was born in Dallas, TX to Charles E. and Barbara (Conley) Hennessee. Mary grew up in Lawton, OK and graduated from Lawton High School. In 1949, she married Douglas G. Fife. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe. She collected antiques, played guitar and piano, and was an excellent cook. She was the former owner/operator of Adelweiss Wine and Liquor in Midwest City. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Charles, Tom and Billy Jack. Survivors include two sons, Bill Fife and wife Virginia of OKC, Bob Fife and wife Karin of Frankfurt, Germany; daughter, Cindy Marks and husband Tom of Arlington, TX; sister, Rosie Sheffield of Corpus Christi, TX; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 15, 2016 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
