Mary Lois Bevins died January 19, 2014. She was born August 9, 1917 in Tribune, KS to John and Gertrude Smith. She retired from Sears as a credit investigator, and was a longtime member of Baptist Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wayne Bevins; parents; 4 sisters, Thelma Cunkle, Orpha Stinson, Helen Lindley and Florence Smith; 2 grandchildren, Michael Jon Bevins and David Alexander Bevins; and 2 great-grandchildren, Carter Bevins and Lucy Bevins. She is survived by her three children, sons, Bob Bevins and partner Joan Enoch, Mike Bevins and wife Beverley; daughter, Susie Reynolds and husband Jim; grandchildren, Robert Bevins, Sarah Bevins, Emily Bevins, Todd Bevins, Micah Bevins, Collin Reynolds and Allison Phillips; and great-grandchildren, David Bevins, Elizabeth Bevins, Nora Kiel, Garrett Bevins, Keller Bevins, Ella Bevins, Ty Bevins, Cash Bevins and Eliza Phillips. Viewing will be Tuesday, January 21, with the family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, Bethany. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Arlington Cemetery at 2:30pm.
