Mary Ann Miller, 86, died at home Sunday, Jan. 10. She was born in Grandfield, OK and raised in Oklahoma City. In 1947, she married Eugene L. "Gene" Miller. They enjoyed 55 happy years together before Gene passed away in 2002. Mary Ann was also preceded in death by their son, William "Bill" Miller; and is survived by four children, David Miller & wife Linda, of OKC; Gloria White & husband Gary, of Edmond; Lawrence "Larry" Miller, of Mississippi; and Elizabeth "Liz" Miller, of OKC; and her brother, Bill Downs, of Pampa, TX. She was known as "Mom-Mom" to her six beloved grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mary Ann was a lifelong member of the Methodist church, including the First United Methodist Church and St. John's UMC, of OKC. Mary Ann was a dedicated member of the United Methodist Women, loved singing in the church choir, was an avid bowler, a passionate gardener and had a great love for the outdoors. By far, her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and friends.
