Born in Custer County near Weatherford, OK on January 6, 1926, she was the youngest of four children born to Charles Harrison Cornell and Gladys Marion Cameron Cornell. She was very proud of the honor of being an adopted Navajo Grandma to Jessica, Felicia and Betty. Many relatives, her grandchildren, students and friends enjoyed painting in her studio. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Cameron Cornell, George W. "Dubby" Cornell, Keith Cornell; and nephew, Charlie Cornell. Martha is survived by her son, John Cameron Eagle and his wife Phyllis; grandchildren, Mallory Marie Reynolds Eagle and Cameron Daniel Reynolds Eagle, all of OKC; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
