Marshall Glen Best was born April 13, 1944 in Oklahoma City to William Grant and Mabel Inez (Pierce) Best. He passed away October 30, 2020 in Oklahoma City. He graduated from Northeast High School. He was in the United States Army. Marshall worked as a forklift operator for Wilsey Bennett. He married his wife, Linda, December 29th, 1973 at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. He enjoyed breakfast every morning at City Cafe. He was always willing to help his farming friends work. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling in his early years. He was an avid Trump supporter. He deeply cared for all of his family and friends. He is survived by wife, Linda Kay (Lathrop) Best; son, Grant Best and wife Lindsey; daughter, Amber McKaye Riley and husband Justin; brothers, Carl Gene Best and Danny Best; sisters, Jane Cave and Doreen Blackketter; grandchildren, James, Bentley, Bella and Ashley; great grandchildren, Brianna and Craig. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jackie Best; 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Memorial service will be Friday, November 6, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at Light Your World Church, 4550 N.W.
