Marlene Quinn, age 71 of Goessel, Kansas, died December 21, 2018 after a long and valiant battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was born June 12, 1947 in Oklahoma City to Garnett and Euseba (Andis) Quinn. Marlene enjoyed a 20-year career in the nursing department of Deaconess Hospital. She was a resident of Bethany, Oklahoma until the summer of 2000 when she relocated to Goessel, Kansas following the death of her mother to be near her sister, Charlotte. She became a resident of Bethesda Home in Goessel, Kansas where she received wonderful care and enjoyed life with many friends who became extended family. She loved her family and was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Survivors include Jadean Quinn Murray (Hebron, Kentucky), Charlotte Quinn Schmidt & husband Gareth (Goessel, KS), Duane Quinn & wife Valerie (Yukon, OK), Jennifer Quinn Pittenger (Yukon, OK), Jeff Quinn & wife Angela (Oklahoma City, OK), and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Viewing will be Thursday, December 27, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8 pm. Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 28th at 1pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Bethany Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Bethesda Home, 408 E.
