On the last day of vacation, May 9th, 2017, Mark David Madison passed away in Maui, HI, at the age of 37.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara McClellan of Spearman, TX, and Randall & Dorothy Madison of Wolfforth, TX. Survived by his loving husband of 3 months, Matthew Wyatt of Midwest City, OK, and their five canine kids, Haley, Dolce, Gabe, Leo and Bishop. The couple were married in Oklahoma City, OK on February 3, 2017. In addition to his spouse, Mark is lovingly remembered by his parents, James and Becky Madison of Mustang, OK; brother, Kevin Madison & wife Andrea of Edmond, OK; and two nieces, McKenzie and Kelsey of Edmond, OK; grandfather, Roy Lee McClellan of Spearman, TX; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mark was born in Longview, TX, on January 22, 1980. In 1999, he received his diploma from Mustang High School in Mustang, OK. He worked as a Property Charges Specialist for NOVAD, a contractor that works for the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Mark was an amazing husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to everyone he was around. He had the biggest heart, which loved deeply, and he gave the best hugs. A generous soul, Mark would often give extra tip money to a waiter or waitress. He would say, "I think they need the money more than I do." Mark would do anything he could to help a friend or family member in need. He was compassionate to a fault, and many family members and friends called on him for advice. You could always rely on him to give you the honest truth of the situation.
Mark had a flair for theatre. At the young age of six, Mark performed in the musical, The Gospel According to Scrooge, at the church his family attended. From that moment on, Mark was hooked, and went on to perform in productions at the Stage Door Theatre in Yukon, OK.
Visitation with the family will be held at Mercer Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany OK, 73008, on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
