Marjorie "Kathleen" Hammond, 90, passed away Friday, March 22nd in Oklahoma City. Kathleen was devoted to her family, and she played each role well; daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She was born on August 17, 1922 in Foster, OK to Earl G. and Mabel M. (Wiley) Lewis. She became a licensed realtor in 1966 and had an active license until her death. On June 15, 1946, she married William J. "Bill" Hammond in Solvay, New York. For 58 years they showed friends, family and the rest of the world what a great marriage looked like. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; two brothers, Kenneth and Bill Lewis. Survivors include her son, William "Bill" Hammond III and wife Cathy, Windsor, CO; daughter, Diane Paquette of Oklahoma City; sister, Linda Myers and husband Phil of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Mandy Schneider and husband Richard, Kendra Martin and husband Sam, Megan Saunders and husband Chris, Joseph Paquette and wife Regan, Breanna Paquette, Ryan Paquette and wife Leslie; great-grandchildren, Emberlynn, Adelaide, Rylee, Korbin, Xander, Ella, Grace, Luke and Reese. Visitation will be from 9am-9pm on Monday, March 25 at Mercer-Adams, with the family present from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
