Marion R. Howe, 89, of Bethany, went peacefully into our Lords loving arms on Monday, March 15 in Oklahoma City. Marion was born in Bluff City, Kansas on March 13, 1921. He married Reva Stewart of Argonia, Kansas and after her passing he married Melva Kennedy of Anthony, Kansas. Marion was a veteran of WWII and served in the Army Air Corps from 1943 to 1945. He then worked as a mechanic and service manager at International Harvester for 29 years before retiring in 1979. Marion was a faithful member of Council Road Baptist Church. He loved fishing, repairing just about anything, eating at buffets, and just plain visiting with good folks. His kind heart, wise advice, and tireless service to others will be greatly missed. Marion was preceded in death by his loving wife, Reva Stewart Howe, loving wife Melva Kennedy Howe, and eldest daughter Marian Howe Wilkinson. He is survived by daughters Jennell Howe McGuire, Dee Brandvig, and Karla Westbury; sons-in-law James McGuire, Mike Westbury, and Larry Wilkinson; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 12pm-9pm, Wednesday, March 17 at Mercer-Adams. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, March 18 at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment following in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
