Obituary

MARIETTA Barringer Baglio died January 13, 2011 in the home of her daughter, Penny Lee in Tuttle, OK. Marietta Barringer Baglio or "Bunny", as she liked to be called, was born on Monday, October 5, 1931 on Long Island, New York and grew up there. She had an enjoyable childhood and when she was 14 went off to Drew Seminary for Girls in New York City. After High School, her parents sent her to Stephens College in Missouri where she earned an Associate's Degree. She met and married Joseph Baglio whom she was married to for 31 years. Joe was a Major in the Air Force when they married which allowed her to travel abroad and in various states within the Country. Bunny became a Certified Nurses' Aide when she was in her 50s and got involved in Home Health which she thoroughly enjoyed. Upon moving to Oklahoma she started working for Integris Hospitals' where she retired. Bunny is survived by her brother, William Barringer, her cousins Sonny Van Deusen, and Connie Lawson, three of her four children; John Paul Baglio of Port Orchard, WA , Penny Baglio Lee of Tuttle, OK, and Robert Paul Baglio of Port Orchard, WA and her 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son James Robert Baglio of Riverhead, Long Island, NY, her parents, John Alfred Barringer of Canandaigua, NY and Eleanor Robbins of Bay Shore, Long Island, NY, and her Uncle William (Bob) Robbins of Bay Shore, Long Island, NY. Memorial Service to be held at First Lutheran Church of Oklahoma City, January 28, 2011 at 2:00pm. Her ashes will be interred in the Robbins' family plot in Bay Shore, NY.
