Marie Eades went to be with the Lord on Nov. 24th 2010. She was born Aug. 23rd 1915 in Woodville, OK, to William and Frances Brewer. Marie and W.A. Buddy Eades, were married on March 8th, 1933. They established a home and began working as a team, farming and doing whatever was available. Marie was an employee of Aero Commander, at Bethany, for over 15 years. They raised two daughters and continued to farm until retirement. Marie has lived on their farm East of Piedmont until her recent illness. Marie has been a long time, and devoted Member of First Baptist Church, Piedmont, which she loved dearly and served in many capacities. She was a Sunday school and Bible school teacher, church secretary, and treasurer. She has served others by making and taking food to the ill and shut-in. She had a keen memory for details. She compiled and printed the Eades Family history. In her later years, Marie volunteered at the Piedmont Service Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.A. Buddy Eades, Son-in-law, Bob Davis, two sisters and six brothers. Her survivors include; two daughters, Marilyn Davis, Doris Marie Dannehl, and husband George. Grand children, Steven Dannehl and wife Robbie; Brenda Graham and husband Phillip; Michael Davis and wife Valerie; Valerie Ray and husband Daniel. The great, grand children are; Mark Dannehl and wife Tara, Justin Moss and Dillon, Cody, Jonathan, Brookelynn, Julia and Anna Davis. Her brothers are: Faber Brewer, and wife Evelyn, Buddy Brewer and wife Rose. Her sisters-in-law are: Winona Brewer, Marie Brewer, Ruby Taylor, and Doris Yeatts, and numerous Nieces and Nephews. The family desires to express heart felt appreciation to 21st Century Home Health Care, nurses, aides, and Deaconess Hospitals, Dr. Louis Cox, and all the staff at 6 North, and special thanks to Rita Martin, for her untiring, effective, and caring service to Marie and her family during this time. The family will receive visitors from 2pm to 4pm, Sunday, Nov. 28th, at Mercer-Adams. Funeral Services will be 2pm, Monday, Nov. 29th, at 1st Baptist Church, Piedmont, with the Rev. Gary Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to 1st Baptist Church, Piedmont.
