Maria "Mary" Luisa Ponce was born October 26, 1954 in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico to Celestino and Carmen (DeHoyos) Ponce. She passed away November 1, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Maria was a homemaker and longtime member of Iglesia La Puerta. She enjoyed reading her bible, worshipping the Lord and playing on her iPad. She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by daughters, Melenie Rodriguez and Natalie (Kevin) Babcock; son, Edwin (JoAnna) Rodriguez; sisters, Iris Rodriguez (Edgar), Hilda Ramos (Robert), Donna Galletto (Frank), Rody Torres (Carlos), and Elizabeth Barbosa; brother, Joel Ponce; grandchildren, Jacob, Cameron, Caleb and Dominick; and numerous extended family and friends.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Wilfredo Ponce and Efraim Ponce.

Service will be Monday, November 4, 2024 at 2:00pm at Iglesia La Puerta with interment to follow in Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery.
