Maria I. Huskey, 90, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 29, 2011. She was born on September 27, 1921 in Aquas Calientes, Mexico to the late Guadalupe and Dolores Gonzalez. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; sisters; her first husband, George W. Winkler; second husband, Damon D. Huskey; and her precious grandson, David Alan Harry. Maria is survived by her loving daughter, Rose Marie Harry and husband Jack of Albuquerque, NM; stepdaughter, Kathryn Livengood and husband Gary; stepson, Terry Huskey and wife Mary; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her twin brother Salvador Gonzalez; many nieces, nephews and friends. Maria was dedicated to her church and volunteered many hours of service wherever needed. She was a wonderful homemaker and caregiver to her family. Gardening was her favorite pastime and especially enjoyed her roses. She was loved by many and will always be remembered by her family, extended family and friends. She was an angel on earth to all who knew her and will now be an angel in heaven. A Rosary was recited Wednesday, November 2, 2011, 8:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St. NW, followed by the Service of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2011, at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2011, at Resurrection Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
