Obituary

Margaret Jean Villa Weyandt, born April 10, 1938 in Dallas, TX, passed away May 21, 2020 in Oklahoma City. Margy grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1956. She married Willis Ray Weyandt, an Air Force man from the Ohio/Pennsylvania area on May 18, 1957. Soon after, they transferred to Warrington AFB in England and had two children. After returning to Oklahoma, Margy worked for Epperly School in the cafeteria. Several years later, after moving to Eufaula, OK, she worked for the "Bargain Shopper" as a proofreader and the "Lake Eufaula World" newspaper as a graphic designer. Upon retiring, she worked for Creek Nation Turnpike. Margy was a devoted member of Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church in Eufaula and Portland Avenue Baptist Church and Surrey Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Margy enjoyed her church family, lunch with her family and friends, Tai Chi, swimming, bingo, bunko and her fur babies, Tonya and Holly. Margy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Margaret Villa; husband, Ray Weyandt; daughter, baby Dana Yvonne Weyandt; two sisters, Linda Villa and Norma Tinkham Davis; two brothers-in-law, Daniel Tinkham and Frank Romero; and nephew, Paul Tinkham. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Barnes of OKC; son, Tony (Dana) Weyandt of Eufaula; grandson, Elijah (Lori) Barnes of Edmond; granddaughters, Tara (Kevin) Gordon Barnes of Elk City, Tiffany (Scott) Kear of Ft. Worth, TX and Pamela Weyandt of Ft. Worth, TX; sisters, Alma Romero, Ann (Joe) Allen, Francis (Doug) Coleman; brother, Frank Villa; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her fur babies, Tonya and Holly. Margys family would like to thank Frontier Hospice for their compassionate care.
