Margaret Lou Cotton, 87, died August 10, 2011. She was born April 5, 1924 in Guthrie, OK. A graduate of Guthrie High School, she lived in Guthrie and OKC most of her life. She married Eugene Cotton who preceded her in death in 1998. She retired as a secretary at CR Anthony Co. and worked for many years as a representative and group leader for Stanley Home Products. She was a longtime, active member of Putnam City Christian Church and served as chairman deaconess and worship committee chairman. She was the elder teacher in crafts and taught Sunday school and Bible school for children. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Beta Sigma Phi. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, she is survived by her sons, Gary Cotton and wife Renee of Norman, OK, Greg Cotton and wife Cathy of Ft. Worth, TX; granddaughters, Rhiannon and Terron; and great-grandson, Jude. She was greatly loved and will be immensely missed. Funeral Services will be Friday, August 12, 2:00pm at Putnam City Christian Church with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
