Mabel Iris Beaman, 89, died May 3, 2015 in OKC. She was born March 9, 1926 in Choctaw, OK to Clint and Minnie (Kennedy) Lundy. She was a graduate of Choctaw High School. On Feb. 19, 1946, she married Elbert Irvin Beaman in Nicoma Park, OK. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife. Mabel was an accomplished seamstress, gardener and china painter. She was dedicated to her job, retiring from MPI (formerly Honeywell) where she worked in the Payroll and Insurance Department. Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elbert, brother, Billy Lundy, and sisters, Barba Collier and Coretta West. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Franklin and husband Joe of OKC; sister, Jewell Criswell and husband Henry; grandchildren, Stacey Meyers and husband John, and Blake Franklin and wife Jada; great-grandchildren, Caroline and Olivia King, Bennett Meyers, and Wiley and Reed Franklin. The family wishes to thank her caregivers, Lilly Plaza, Michelle Freeman and Keshia Hill and the staff at Integris Hospice House for their loving care. Family suggests memorial donations to Integris Hospice House. Viewing will be Tuesday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Wednesday, May 6, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment to follow in Kolb Cemetery.
