Obituary

Lynda Logue-Hughes Lynda was born in Herington, Kansas, on February 28, 1945. She grew up in Vancouver, Washington. She twirled the baton and played clarinet in school, graduating from Hudsons Bay High School in 1963. Lynda was a skilled belly dancer and was the troupe leader for "Jalal" in Seattle. She had many interests including cooking, crafting, gardening, bowling, swimming, and finding new treasures at garage sales. Lynda lived many places including Bothell, Washington; Torrance, California; and North Richland Hills, Texas. She enjoyed time with friends, especially her exercise group at The Cube. She was a member at Lake View Park Church of the Nazarene. She served on the Womens Ministry Council and used her baking skills to delight many with surprise gifts of delicious treats. Lynda brought laughter and creativity to any group she attended. Lynda is survived by her husband of 24 years, John Hughes; daughters, Cindy Throne (Bill) of Gig Harbor, Washington; Nicky Ryan (Donnie) of Warr Acres, Oklahoma; one grandchild, Abby Ryan; and four grand-dogs, Harley, Gigi, Mimi, and Bindi.Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lydia Konsa; her half-sister Melba Fleming; Cindys father, Don Ward; and Nickys father, Benjamin Logue. After 47 days in the hospital, Lynda Hughes, age 76, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, June 17, 2021. Her absence leaves an empty place in our lives and hearts, but we know we shall see her again. As Lynda believed, we also believe John 14:1-3: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me [Jesus]. My Fathers house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." .
