Luvena Ellen Gandara, 57, went to Heaven August 1, 2013 in Oklahoma City surrounded by her family. She was born March 22, 1956 to Dolen and Letha Perdue in San Jose, California. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Singleton and sister, LaDonna Perdue. Survivors include her parents; husband, Mike; daughters, Jessica Kline and husband John, Jackie Moore and husband David, Justine Gott and husband Mike; sons, J.D. Singleton and Jason Gandara; siblings, Dale Perdue, Preston Perdue, Eva Gabbert, Tim Perdue, Paul Perdue, Esther Doshier; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Emily, Benjamin, Daniel, Madeline, Jacob, Hannah and Clayton. Luvena was an exceptional mother, wife, grandmother, minister, and a friend to everyone. She owned her own antique store and was an outstanding sales leader. She was the founder of Today's Woman's Ministry in 1998 and she traveled around the world and inside the US for women's conferences. She ministered locally, conducting monthly meetings of "Times of Refreshing". Visitation will be Sunday, 1pm-9pm with family present from 5pm-7pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, Bethany, OK.
