Lucille "Teale" Bam Singleterry died on May 17, 2018 in OKC. She was born December 19, 1929 in Mexhoma, OK to Charles and Agnes (Vinther) Moore. She married DJ "Jack" Singleterry on July 27, 1951 in Mexhoma, OK. Lucille graduated from Clayton H.S. in 1947 and then graduated from OSU in 1951 with a Bachelors Degree in home economics. She was involved in International Rainbow for girls, enjoyed traveling around the world with her widows group, and had over 40 years of sobriety through AA. She most loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Tyler Groschick; sisters, Ida Bawcom, Becky Nichols, Margaret Biaggi; and brother, Charlie Moore. She is survived by her daughters, Janis Tanksley of Dibble, OK, Diane Singleterry of OKC; son, Greg Singleterry of Eufala; brother, Jack Moore of Liberal, KS; sister, Marie Holloway of Boise City, OK; grandchildren, Taylor and Korey Groschick of Casper, WY, Tory Griffin of Bridge Creek, OK and Gabrielle Gadd of OKC; great-grandchildren, Tyler Jackson Groschick and Titus Howard Griffin; and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be Sunday, 11am-9pm with family present from 2-4pm and Monday, 9am-9pm with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 22, 10am at Western Oaks Christian Church with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
