Lucille McMillan, 89, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 18, 2013. Lucille was born on June 22, 1924 in Pernell, Oklahoma to Oscar and Maggie (Fletcher) Franklin. She grew up in the Lookeba and Hinton area. Lucille married Ray Oliver in 1940 and they had two children. The family moved to Oklahoma City in 1955. She worked and retired from Macklanburg-Duncan as a factory worker. Lucille met and married Everett McMillan in 1972. They enjoyed traveling and stayed very active in their retirement years. Lucille was an amazing seamstress who could make just about anything and was very talented at different crafts including creating ceramics and reupholstering furniture. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and was also an incredible cook who loved to prepare meals for family gatherings. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Everett McMillan; parents, Oscar and Maggie Franklin; brothers, Cliff Franklin, Johnnie "Dude" Franklin, Carl Franklin, and Murl Franklin; and one sister, Grace Franklin. Lucille is survived by her two children, Carolyn Jourdan of Yukon, and Larry Oliver and wife Elaine of Scottsdale, Arizona; grandchildren, Sherri Weller and husband Matt of Yukon, OK, Kevin Oliver of Oklahoma City, OK, Brad Oliver and wife Sara of Glendale, AZ, Chad Oliver of Scottsdale, AZ; great-daughter-in-law, Tonya Oliver of Edmond, OK; great-grandchildren, Allison and Ryan Weller of Yukon, OK and Kyle, Kody, and Mikayla Oliver of Edmond, OK; step-children, Donald McMillan and wife Gail of Wichita, KS, Frances McMillan Oney and husband Ted of OKC, and Dora Ann McMillan Crenshaw and husband Al of OKC; 7 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Elnor Franklin, Juanita Lindley, and Yvonne Satterlee; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Viewing will be held Tuesday, October 22 from 9:00am-9:00pm with the family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in the Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, OK.
