Louise Anne LaFollette died November 7, 2011. She was born May 21, 1936 to Raymond and Berenice Kappus. She held many jobs through the years, but her favorites were working for the Girl Scouts organization and as secretary of the OKC Blazers Hockey Team. She loved flower gardening, watching all kinds of sports and enjoying her grandkids sports and activities. She was independent and courageous; loved by her family and respected by her peers. Her children looked up to her and admired her hard work and dedication. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. LaFollette, and her parents. She is survived by her sons, Kurt and wife Nelda of Wheatland and Cliff and wife Kelly of Piedmont; daughter, Jodie Walkup and Jared of Bethany; sisters LaVerne Manning and Rita Koehler; brother, Neal Kappus; grandchildren, Raimie and husband Stacy, Kassie and husband Alex, Kira and husband Garrett, Curtis, Nikole, Colton and Kailey; great grandson, Easton; step-granddaughter, Alexis; and step-great-grandson, Tyler. Viewing will be Thursday, November 10 with the family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Friday, November 11, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in El Reno Cemetery.
