Louise Elaine Alderson, 86, passed away on December 24, 2025, in Yukon, Oklahoma. She was born July 19, 1939, to Wilbur and Joyce (Furlong) Cunningham in San Diego, California. She married Richard Alderson on July 23, 1971 in San Diego, California.

Louise enjoyed gardening, entertaining friends and family, and was very creative in decorating her home and making it a special place. She enjoyed traveling and was fortunate to travel to Europe and several international locations and always dreamed of traveling more. She was very enthusiastic and lived life to the fullest.

Louise was always very much a part of her church family, often teaching Sunday school and VBS, and hosting and planning fundraisers. She was always ready to jump in and help with any activities. Her service to her church family was very important to her. Louise's faith and her love for God was a very strong and integral part of her life which she shared with her husband and family. She was a constant prayer warrior.

Louise loved spending time with her family, and she was a very devoted, fun and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She went out of her way to make things fun for all of those around her. One of her proudest accomplishments was graduating from Point Loma Nazarene University with a bachelor's degree in psychology.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Arthur Cunningham and Russell Cunningham.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Dean Alderson; daughter, Braiden Alderson Lee; stepdaughter, Cynthia Sinchak; stepson, Todd Alderson; 5 grandchildren, Bennett, Sophie, Amy, Natalie and Tyler; and 6 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service Chapel.
