Louis Donald Maxwell, 83, died June 10, 2022 in Oklahoma City. He was born November 14, 1938 in Gracemont, OK to Jess and Alta Juanita (Carter) Maxwell. He graduated from high school in Derby, Kansas. He married Carol Jean Kennedy on May 1st, 1982 in Oklahoma City. Louis was a machinist and owner of Creative Metals in Oklahoma City. He enjoyed gunsmithing and spending time with his furry constant companion, Rowdy, a Corgi, who recently passed. Louis missed him very much. Survivors include his loving wife, Carol; brother, Charles Maxwell; daughter, Cheri Ogg; sons, Butch Maxwell and wife Penny, Steve Maxwell and wife Linda; stepdaughter, Kim Bibbs and husband Richard; and stepson, Kevin Hull and wife Jamie; 8 grandchildren, Jennifer, Diane, Paul, Brock, Brooke, Brandon, Brenna, and David; and 5 great-grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday, June 15, 10:00am at Trinity Church of the Nazarene. Interment will be at 2:30 pm in Flynn Cemetery, Cushing, Oklahoma. .
