Loretta Ruth Foust-Powell, 82 years old, of Prineville, Oregon, went to be with Jesus on April 27, 2023, by her beloved husbands side at her home in Prineville, Oregon, after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born on October 24, 1940, to James David (JD) and Ethel Cordelia Davidson Foust in Oklahoma City, OK. She married Ronald Montgomery and had two children, Tamara (Tami) and Shelley. After the two divorced in 1989, Loretta met and married Warren Powell in 1996 in Prineville, Oregon and were happily married until her death. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Oklahoma City School System for over 25 years. She began her career at Harding Middle School and retired from Northwest Classen High School. She was an avid seamstress and crafter. Loretta is survived by her husband, Warren Powell; daughter, Tamara (Tami) Buttry and son-in-law Steve Buttry; daughter, Shelley Gray and son-in-law Eddie Gray; granddaughter, Jennifer Bennett and husband Bill Bennett; grandson, Blake Buttry; and great-grandchildren, Portia and Elijah Bennett. She was preceded in death by her parents, James David (JD) and Ethel Cordelia Foust; half-brother, Donald Benson; brothers, James David (Jimmy) Foust Jr, Gary Foust, and Edward (Ed) Foust. Visitation at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home, 3925 North Asbury Avenue, Bethany, OK 73008 on May 4, 2023, from 5-7pm. Celebration of Life at Lone Star Baptist Church, 1805 W Hefner Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73131 on May 5, 2023, at 10:00am. Interment will be held at 2:30pm on May 5, 2023, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 N Kelley Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 74131. Lorettas favorite color was pink, feel free to wear pink in her honor. .
