Lola Ruth Heldenbrand, 85, died March 13, 2015. She was born January 9, 1930 to Joseph and Leona (Chaney) Puckett. Lola loved to laugh and was a very doting grandmother to her grandkids and great-grandkids. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics, painting, and making porcelain dolls. She loved to backpack, hike and enjoyed fishing in Canada every year. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Orville Heldenbrand; brother, Bud Puckett; step-son, Marty Heldenbrand, and granddaughter, Sarah Zaffos. Survivors include her son, Mike Shannon and wife Judy; daughter, Pamela Zaffos and husband Bill; step-daughters, Lori Kelley and husband Don, Lisa Hillbern and husband Ron; 4 grandchildren, Peter Zaffos, Joshua Zaffos, Morgan Shannon and Jesse Shannon; step-grandchildren, Bradley Hillbern and Mathew and Louis Heldenbrand and 6 great-grandchildren, Josephine, Lillian, Gavin, Corbin, Briseis and Selah. Viewing will be Sunday, 11am-9pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral services will be Monday, March 16, 2:00pm at Memorial Park Historic Chapel with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
