Lloyd A. Ridner, 79, died June 14, 2011 in OKC. He was born Feb. 29, 1932 in Gainesville, TX to Rufus and Juanita Ridner. He graduated from Gainesville High School in 1950 and joined the U.S. Air Force. He met and married Phyllis (Reisman) Ridner in 1952. He served duty in Panama and upon completing his tour he and Phyllis moved to Rocky Ford, Colorado. Lloyd then started and owned a radio station. He moved to Bethany, OK in the mid 1960s with his family where he remained for the rest of his life. Lloyd and Phyllis enjoyed 59 wonderful years of marriage. They raised 3 children, David, Dr. Michael, and Kim. He opened and managed the Hobbymart store in Bethany. He could fix anything. He was a 50 year member of the Masons and spent many years as a member of the Westside Flyers. Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Phyllis; sons, David Ridner and wife Jeanette of OKC, Dr. Michael Ridner of Huntsville, AL; daughter, Kim (Ridner) Williams and husband Noel of OKC; grandchildren, Christian Ridner, Meghan Ridner, Clayton Ridner, Noel Williams, Jr., Calvin Williams, Hugo Williams, and Gideon Williams; and great-grandchildren, Alex and Alecia Ridner.
