Lloyd Derrell Gammon, 79, died February 7, 2015 in Warr Acres. He was born October 9, 1935 in Cherokee, OK to Lloyd and Olive (Brown) Gammon. He graduated Dover High School, Dover, OK and continued his education while in the military. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force. He was an Avionics Technician working mainly on B52s and flew combat missions during Korea and Vietnam. He served as a teaching officer later in his enlistment having received numerous awards for his performance. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Yvonne Gammon; children, Deb Brandon and husband Richard, Sharon McKennon and husband John, Rick Gammon, Sandy Bottger and husband Ted, and Mike Gammon; step-children, Mike Adams and wife Shaun, Julie Adams-Law and John Adams and wife Sharmane; grandchildren, Ashley Heller and husband Josh, Crystal Hughes and husband Brandon, Jennifer Becker and husband Brandon, Jamie West and husband Jon, Bailey Nilsen and husband Matt, Ashlyn Adams, Lucianna Law, Laci Vonne Adams, and Lainey Gammon, Eric Brandon, Ryan Bottger, Kyle Bottger, Connor Adams, Jarrett Adams, Jackson Law, Beau Law, and Lucas Gammon; great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Emmeline Heller, and Lincoln Hughes; 2 brothers, Ronnie Gammon and wife Jacquie, Dennis Gammon and wife Joyce; brother-in-law, Ray Moore; sister-in-law, Tommy Jean Dover and husband W.D.; numerous nephews, nieces and extended family members and a host of loving, lifelong friends. Viewing will be Wednesday, 9am-9pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Thursday, February 12, 2:00pm at Forest Hill Christian Church, 2121 N.
