Linda Kay Spinner, 65, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2013 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Linda was born to Troy and Willie Mae Renfro on December 17, 1947 in Belton, Texas. In 1967, she married James Spinner, Sr. in Buras, Louisiana. Linda always considered Oklahoma her home and was proud to work for several years as a registered nurse in Oklahoma City. She had many friends who loved her and was well known for her kindness and generosity to all. She especially loved her ladies group the "Curves Ladies". Linda was a good wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and an adoring great-grandmother. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother Ray. She is survived by her daughter, Roxane Jayroe and husband Rhett; sons, James Spinner and Troy Spinner; granddaughter, Rylee Haycraft and husband Chris; great-grandson, Jace Haycraft; brothers, Billy Renfro and Lance Renfro; sister, Janice Smith; and a countless number of friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Reitz, his staff and all the nurses at Mercy Oncology for their kindness and compassion. They were a true blessing to Linda and her family. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery, 7500 W. Britton Road, Oklahoma City.
