Linda Ann (Brownen) Morris died on October 13, 2015 in Bethany, Oklahoma. She was born on March 24, 1946, in Tuttle, Oklahoma to Cob and Geneva Brownen. Linda graduated from Putnam City High School in 1964. She retired from the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office in 2012, and also worked with the CCA Correction Facility as a court liaison. In all, she gave a total of 30 years of service. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walter Lee Morris, and nephew, Doug Brownen. She is survived by her daughter, Tami Akin and husband Terry; brother, Bruce Brownen and wife Janice; nephews and nieces, Jeff Brownen, Mike Brownen and wife Kim, (Elizabeth and David), Lorri Brownen (wife of Doug), Ed Isham, Tim Isham and Ronda James; and a host of many friends who will greatly miss her. There will be a viewing on Friday, October 16, from 9am to 9pm, at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury Ave, Bethany, OK 73008. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service with interment following in Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, Oklahoma.
