Linda Louise Wonderly McKuen left this world and traveled through the Door into Eternal Life on January 18, 2017. She was born on June 6, 1961, in El Reno, OK. She maintained an incredibly positive and very spiritual approach to life until the end and will be sorely missed by all. She graduated from Putnam City West High School in Oklahoma City in 1979. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Mathematics in 1983. She enjoyed playing clarinet and flute, and participating in marching band in high school and college. She pursued and lived her lifelong dream by becoming a high school Math teacher. She taught at Mustang (OK), Plano (TX), and Putnam City North (OK) High Schools. In 1993, she married Kenneth McKuen, and they had two wonderful, intelligent, and beautiful children. She loved Mother Nature and all of Gods creations. She enjoyed visits to the Giant Sequoias and Redwoods of California, the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the Grand Canyon of Arizona, and infinite visits to the wonderful geological formations of New Mexico. She nurtured roses and African Violets, much like her wonderful Aunts, Ethel and Helen, whom she absolutely loved and adored. Another part of her life was her love of OSU. She was always watching and cheering for her favorite team. Go Pokes! She was very spiritual and close to God. She loved St. Luke's and its Family of Faith. She enjoyed the Wednesday Night Alive program. We were very blessed to have this woman in our lives. She was more than a wife and mother. She was someone to everyone: a friend, a teacher, a tutor, a classmate, a cousin, an aunt, a daughter, and a sister. Most importantly, she made an everlasting impact in all of our lives. We believe that she lives on in the life of everyone she touched. She is now free from the human body and the cancer that impaired her. She will do more in Eternal Life than she could ever have done on this planet. We will continue to love and miss her always. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Ken and two children, Michaela and Kyle. She is also survived by her parents, Don and Pat Wonderly; sister Emily Jordan and her husband, Ramon, and their four children; brother Jeff Wonderly and his wife, Melinda, and their daughter; brother Gregg Wonderly and his wife, Tammy, and their two daughters; many cousins and other relatives. Services will be held at St. Lukes United Methodist Church, 222 NW 15th St, Oklahoma City at 2:00 PM on January 30, 2017. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to support the "Linda McKuen Music Fund" at Tulakes Elementary, 6600 Galaxie Drive, Oklahoma City, OK 73132.
