Linda Gertrude Mariman passed away on September 15th, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born December 31st, 1949, to Marion Alva Patterson and Thelma (Puckett) Patterson in Shumway, Illinois. She was married to Roger Mariman for 42 years until his death in 2011. Linda retired from OU Children's Hospital as a registered nurse after 30 years of devoted and loving service.
Linda enjoyed gardening, cooking, and being a part of the Mustang Senior Center. She was a Master Gardener and took pride in her volunteer work around the metro area. She always took time to share her knowledge with her granddaughter and was an essential part of developing her love for animals and the natural world. Linda was a passionate beekeeper. She loved sharing her honey harvest and teaching others about the art of beekeeping. Linda enjoyed traveling, experiencing new cuisines and historic gardens around the world. She was beloved by the Mustang Senior Center community, spending her weekdays at group exercise classes and socializing along with her sister. She loved spending time with her family and was a devoted parent and grandparent.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; beloved spouse, Roger Mariman; only son, Roger Dale Mariman, Jr., and her brothers, Gene Patterson and Tom Patterson.
She is survived by her two sisters, Marilyn Patterson and Laura (Patterson) Mietzner; daughter, Elizabeth Mariman; granddaughter, Emily Chandler; and her beloved cat, Grayson. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by friends and family.
Viewing will be Friday, September 19th from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Graveside service will be held Saturday, September 19th at 1:00 p.m., Wheatland Cemetery (corner South Council and SW 59th).
