Linda Gail (Ayers) Godbout, 67, died December 30, 2015. She was born October 10, 1948 in Middlesboro, KY to Herbert and Carrie (Melton) Ayers. She was an administrative assistant at the UCO Nursing and Funeral Service Departments for fifteen years. She enjoyed reading, sewing and the company of her cats. She was part of an OU football group for 20 years, gathering for every home game and tailgate parties. She married Marvin Lee Godbout on September 2, 1995. Survivors include her husband Marvin; daughter, Angela Rouse and husband Charles of Rose Hill, VA; step-children, Mike Godbout and wife Terri, Amy Weber and husband Brian; Neysa Thomas and husband Marvin; siblings, Beth (Max), Ed, Herbert , Jr., Eugene; and 7 grandchildren, Kaci, Dustin, Nick, Josh, Brianna, Zane and Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings. Viewing will be Sunday, 11am-9pm, with family present from 4-6pm at Mercer-Adams.
