Linda "Carol" Carolyn Dines passed away on October 19, 2023 at the age of 78 in her childhood home in Oklahoma City, OK. She was raised by mother, Evelyn Calder and stepfather, John Calder along with brothers, Donald Dines and Steven Calder, all of whom precede her in death.

She was an exceptionally caring and dutiful daughter, sister, and aunt. She graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1963 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts at Oklahoma City University in 1971.

Carol had a lifelong love of the arts including painting, singing, film, and theater. She won many awards as a director at Muskogee Little Theatre, and continued to volunteer at the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City into her later years. She enjoyed a successful career as a radiographer at the Muskogee VA Hospital and went on to earn her master's in Business Administration at Oklahoma City University in 1993. She eventually concluded her career in radiology to care for her mother, Evelyn, full-time and utilized her business acumen to co-own and run the family business.

Carol is survived by her sisters-in-law, Annette Davis, Judy Dines, and Janet Eschman; her nieces and nephews, Nathan Calder, Greg Dines, Courtney Morris, and Katelyn Young; her great-nieces and great-nephews Liam Calder, Bowie Calder, Alex Dines, William Dines, Kaiser Dines, Annika Morris, and Zachary Morris; as well as several life-long friends. Her mischievous humor, fierce loyalty, and quietly eccentric nature will be lovingly remembered.

A memorial service will be held at 4pm on Friday, October 27 at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service in Bethany, Oklahoma.
