Linda Lee Bement, 76, lived in Oklahoma City and died February 12, 2022. She was born to Robert and Velma Hogan in 1945 and lived in Mulhall and Guthrie most of her life. For about 2 years she lived in the Texas Panhandle, where her father worked in the oil fields. He was one of the men that drilled the oil well that runs under the State Capital of Oklahoma. She is strongly remembered for her beautiful voice and piano playing, which she did every Saturday morning. On Sundays she was always teaching about God. The children loved seeing Miss Linda and listening to her Bible stories. She was married twice. First to Marion Frances Johnson, who died in 1972, and then to Dennis Lee Bement, who died in 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie and son-in-law, Ron Wilson; step-daughter, Tanya and son-in-law, Richard Young; grandchildren, William & Jennifer Shannon, Michael & Laura Wilson, Ron & Amanda Wilson III, Sky & Emily Shannon, and Jessica Wilson; step-grandchildren, Patricia & Derek Weldon, Anna Young and John Young; great-grandchildren, William Shannon, Jr., Zackary Shannon, Dakodah Shannon, Londeyn Shannon, Kashton Shannon, Kailob Wilson, Gabriel Wilson, Roman Wilson, Esther Wilson, Madilyn, Evan, Ron IV, Scarlett Shannon, Daniel Shannon, Elizabeth Shannon, Joselyn Shannon, and Elysium Wilson; step great-grandchildren, Dylan Weldon, Brianna Weldon, Hokni Young, Keani Sanchez and Leo Young. There are not enough words to describe the wonder and beauty of Linda Lee Bement. God has one of his First Soprano Angels singing all the time now.
