Linda Lou Bass, 71, passed away December 28, 2020 due to complications of a stroke. Ms. Bass was born February 16, 1949 to Clyde and Lou Littig, who preceded her in death, along with her sister, Rosalee Littig of Duncan, OK. She is survived by brother and wife Don and Margie Littig of Lawton, OK; brother and wife Mark and Betty Littig of Duncan, OK; and sister, Anna Farris of Roanoke, TX. Surviving children and spouses include, son, Jason Bass of Bethany, OK; daughter and spouse, Jamie and Billy Bruce of Prague, OK; daughter and spouse, Jennifer and Gregory Backes of Bremerton, WA; grandchildren, Guinevere Washington, Jacqueline Tinga, Caleb Bruce, Audrey Bruce, and Corbin Backes. Linda was a cashier for Wal-Mart and her career span lasted 35 years. She treated all of her customers and co-workers with such high dignity and compassion. She was the epitome of what it meant to put others first, no matter who it was. She always had a smile on her face and would light up a room by striking up a conversation with anyone she met. Linda's favorite past times included traveling, dining out, going to the movies, and shopping. She also enjoyed spending time with her family whom she loved very much and always spoke highly of. Linda was fortunate to visit many destinations around the world with her "Cruising Crew" of Duncan, OK. Donations can be made in her honor at any BancFirst location under the Linda Bass Memorial.
