Lillie Kathryn Vincent went to be with the Lord on Sept. 5, 2012. She was born Nov. 21, 1913 in Lowry, SD to Rudolph and Katie Weiszhaar. Lillie was raised on the outskirts of Mobridge, South Dakota. Lillie walked to school several miles each day. During the winter snows, she often rode a sleigh pulled by horses to school. Lillie married Henry Mafton Mickelson in Mobridge, SD on Feb. 4, 1931. They later moved to Lemmon, SD where they owned a creamery. Lillie and Henry also lived in Rapid City, SD before moving to OKC in 1952. Henry passed away in 1974. Later in life, after retiring from her own Day Care business, she met Garry Vincent, who was born in England. Lillie and Garry married in 1981. They were married for 15 years before Garry passed away in 1996. Lillie enjoyed reading, playing Bridge, and her church. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Gerhart and Albert, one sister, Alvina, and two daughters, Gladys and Janet. Lillie is survived by one daughter, Diane Lane and husband Doug; one sister, Virginia Schanzebach; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Lillie was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed dearly by all. The family would like to thank the staff of Gran Gran's for such loving, compassionate care that she received the last year and a half of her life. Viewing will be Friday, 9am-9pm, with the family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at 10:00am in Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
