Lila Jane Miller, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11th, 2017 with family by her side in Edmond, Oklahoma. She was born on July 17th, 1929 in Paden, OK to Sylvester Watkins and Addie Vivian Watkins. She married Fonzie Miller on 12/21/46 and was happily married until his death in 1965. She worked for Safeway Supermarket for 35 years in the meat department. Lila was committed to the Lord and serving His kingdom. She was an active member of Crossings Community Church for many decades serving in several ministries. For more than 25 years she delivered "Meals on Wheels" to the elderly. She was delivering meals well into her 80's. Service was her mission. She loved to cook and crochet. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved spending time with her grandkids and was their biggest fan. You could always find her in the stands of their ball games or following them around on the golf course. She always put others before herself. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Matthews; son, Larry Miller; and her sister, Myrtle Shivers. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Holly Bailey and husband Bruce, Michael Matthews and wife Sarah, Matt Matthews and wife Emily; Larry's children: Mark, Faith, Cindi, and Fonzie; great-grandchildren, Brittany and Kylie Bailey (Holly and Bruce Bailey), Luke and Abbey Matthews (Michael and Sarah Matthews).
