Leslie R. "Les" Shilling, 73, died April 1, 2016. He was born September 16, 1942 in Oklahoma City, OK to George Riley "Jeff" Shilling, Jr. and Ruth Evelyn (Burns) Shilling. He was a 1960 graduate of Putnam City High School and received his Bachelors degree at Oklahoma State University. He married Dixie Lou Carson on May 29, 1964 in Bartlesville, OK. Les owned and operated J.R. Ranch Restaurant. Les was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, George Riley Shilling, III. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Dixie; daughter, Amy Ediger, Norman, OK; son, Jeff Shilling, Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Kathy Larsen and husband John, and Carolyn Jeary; and 2 grandchildren, Anna Lou Mueller and husband Michael, and Drew Ediger.
