September 28, 1926 - February 5, 2019 Hershel Leroy Patton, 92, died February 5, 2019. He was born September 28, 1926 in Kingsmill, TX to Elby and Virgie (Trew) Patton. He married Ernestene Seitz on January 3, 1948 in Pampa, TX and they enjoyed 63 wonderful years together. Ernestene preceded him in death in 2011. Leroy was the third of eleven children; 5 sisters and 5 brothers: Iweta and Betty of Amarillo, TX, Claudia of Cedar Park, TX, and Lovella of Denison, TX. George, Bobby, Glena, E.H., Nep and Clyde preceded him in death. Leroy and Ernestenes family grew to include: Ernie Royce and his wife Sharon of Yukon, OK, Waylon Dale of OKC, and Janet LaDella Colley and her husband Roy of Tuttle, OK; 15 grandchildren, Christopher and wife Georgia of Akron, OH, Scott and wife Leah of Yukon, OK, Shane, Amy, Sara, Rachel, Leigh Hinshaw and husband John of Yukon, OK, Anna Seitz and husband Jared of Columbus, MS, Denver, Ashton and Jacey; and 5 great-grandchildren; Sydney, Olivia, Grady, Jacob and Lillian. Visitation will be Wednesday, 12:00pm - 9:00pm at Mercer-Adams. Committal Service will be Thursday, February 7, 10:00am at Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.
