Leona Ruth Korgan was born on Aug. 19, 1915 to Samuel Luther and Zannie Olphelia Davis in Hinton, OK. She passed to heaven Sept. 19, 2010. She married the love of her life, Ivan Korgan, in June 1938. She loved her family and friends and was an avid reader. They had a library downstairs and she kept in constant touch with the OKC Library. She loved to sit on her balcony and read and watch the children at the school across the street. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Ivan Korgan, granddaughter Kristin Lanning High, one brother and three sisters. She is survived by her sister, Maxine Johnston, daughter Kathleen Price; son Larry Korgan and wife Pam of Reno, NV; grandchildren Keith Ivan Warlick, Sheralyn and Tony Sibilia, Grant and Shawna Korgan; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Brandon Rose, Victoria and Shawn, Joshua Kris Warlick, Katherine, Lauren and Megan Sibilia. Many thanks for the excellent care from all the nurses at Select Hospital. Many thanks to RSVP for getting her to the numerous doctor appts. Pastor Richard Hogue will officiate. She will be buried in the Korgan family plot at Memorial Park Cemetery on Wed., Sept. 22.
