Lena Lou "Pat" Fixico, age 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 20, 2021. She was born February 16, 1934 to Tom T. and Louisa Pulliam in Duncan, Oklahoma. She lived in the country on a small farm, graduated from Duncan High School in Oklahoma and went on to Bethany Nazarene College and graduated from there. She later received her Master of teaching degree at Central State College. She taught school in Colorado and later moved back to Bethany, OK. She started working as a CNA at Western Oaks Nursing Home. She enjoyed taking care of the elderly. Her last job which she enjoyed so much was working as a CNA at the Childrens Center in Bethany. She was involved in church at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene and helped in prison missionary work at Warr Acres Nazarene Church. She encouraged so many! She would send cards of encouragement to different ones that came to her heart. She was smart, sweet, silly, loving, wise, caring, spry, always smiling, strong, resilient and creative worker. She is survived by her daughter, Star White, Bethany; grandsons, Josh White, Bethany, Jacob White, Bethany; great-grandson, Bradon White, Tulsa; granddaughter, Destiny Wilson, OKC; two nieces that she raised like daughters, Cornelia Jane Pulliam Robertson, Duncan and Rachel Pulliam Carter, Georgia; nieces, Teresa Cecil Moradi, OKC and Candice Moradi Blevins of OKC; nephews, Mark Cecil, OKC, Tim Lawson, El Reno, Brandon Moradi, OKC, Gage Moradi, OKC and many other nieces, nephews and family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Louisa Bacon Pulliam and father, Tom T. Pulliam; husband, Alexander Fixico; daughter, Connie Doty; niece, Shelly White; sisters, Violet Pulliam, Mary Jane Pulliam and Epsy Pulliam Lawson; brothers, Allen Pulliam, Jack Pulliam, Thomas Pulliam, Franklin Pulliam, Bill Pulliam and Elliott Pulliam. Viewing will be Monday, August 23 from 8am-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Service will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, August 24 at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment to follow in Bethany Cemetery. .
